Early Intervention

In our home-based early intervention program, we provide speech therapy and special instruction to eligible children, ages birth up to age 3. Services are delivered in the child’s natural environment—typically the home—and are designed to support families in helping their children learn and grow through everyday routines. In accordance with federal early intervention guidelines, we focus on coaching and empowering parents and caregivers as active participants in their child’s development.

Speech Therapy

We provide speech therapy services outside of early intervention to individuals of all ages, including both children and adults. Whether it's addressing speech delays in preschoolers, supporting communication skills in school-aged children, or working with adults on speech, language, voice, or cognitive-communication needs, our experienced therapist offers personalized care to help each individual reach their full potential.

Occupational Therapy

If you have children attending Southern Huntingdon County School District or Mount Union Area School District, you can contact us to learn more about the evaluation process. We provide occupational therapy to school-aged students who qualify for services through their IEP or 504 Plan. Currently, our services are available within both school districts.

Specific Assistance

RAISEtown Care Connect’s Specific Assistance Program provides financial help to individuals who are unable to afford medically necessary items or modifications. This support may include requests such as wheelchair ramps, orthopedic shoes, lift chairs, hearing aids, and more.

Requests are reviewed by a committee to ensure eligibility and need. While some items, like eyeglasses or mileage reimbursements, are not covered, we are happy to guide individuals to other resources when appropriate.

If you or someone you know is facing a medical need with limited financial means, we encourage you to reach out to learn more about how this program may be able to help.

Referrals for Services
Referrals may be made by human service agencies, physicians, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, or through self-referral. If you have questions about our services or would like to explore available support, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Non-Discrimination Statement
